Third Door Media (TDM) Speaking Terms

By agreeing to speak or participate in a Third Door Media (TDM) event, you agree that:

• Your final presentation will be submitted using the official event presentation template provided by Third Door Media.

• TDM has the right to record your presentation in audio and video formats and make use of those recordings, or transcripts of your presentation, for promotional or commercial purposes.

• TDM has the right and will make available slides and supporting materials from your presentations to attendees of its conferences and webcasts, such as by offering the material for download, via printed handouts, through online replays or other formats. 

• This agreement also grants TDM the right to use your name, voice, image and biography to promote its events.

The rights above are granted on a non-exclusive, worldwide, and royalty-free basis. Non-exclusive means that you retain the rights to your material for your own purposes, as you see fit. If you object to any of the above granted rights, you must notify conference chair Kathy Bushman (kbushman@thirddoormedia.com).

TDM will accommodate reasonable requests. We're aware that some speakers are sensitive that providing digital presentation documents might make it easier for others to reproduce their work without credit. We publish electronic versions (in PDF format) which can be less easily replicated by others. The intent of this agreement is not to limit your rights but to protect the basic legal rights that TDM must secure.

You represent to TDM that your presentation (INCLUDING ALL IMAGES) and any other material you submit are original with you, that their publication/distribution will not infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any third party, and that you have full authority to this release and license.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TDM, its officers, employees and agents for any breach of this representation. Should your presentation or other materials require permission from another for use by TDM, you agree to obtain that permission from the copyright proprietor consistent with this Agreement.

TDM is not obliged to publish your presentation or other materials.
